World Athletics ratifies Amusan’s 100m hurdles file

The World Athletics has ratified the ladies’s world 100m hurdles file set by Nigerian athlete, Tobi Amusan on the 2022 World Championships in Oregon.

The governing physique on Tuesday confirmed this alongside the world information of two different athletes – Mondo Duplantis and Sydney McLaughin.

The 25-year-old Nigerian sprinter shocked the athletics world with a file time of 12.12 seconds within the semi-finals on the occasion, breaking the six-year-old file held by USA’s Kendra Harrison.

She grew to become the primary Nigerian world champion on the World Athletics Championships with a gold medal within the 100m hurdles.
