Troops rescue victims from bandits, get well 90 cows

Troops have rescued 9 victims from kidnappers, whereas recovering 99 cows and 4 bikes following raids on their camp in Kaso, Chikun native authorities space of Kaduna state. 

Kaduna state Commissioner for Inside Safety and House Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan, mentioned in an announcement on Monday that the engagement in opposition to the bandits on the Tantatu excessive floor compelled the bandits to flee their camp and run into the forest. 

In keeping with Aruwan, “troops of Operation Forest Sanity rescued 9 kidnapped individuals throughout preventing patrols to suspected bandit hideouts in Kaso, Chikun LGA. “The troops searched the camp and rescued 9 kidnapped individuals, recognized as: Salama Oliver, Husseini Odu, Danjuma Jakanwa, Ezekiel Garba, Obadiah Moses, Taiwo Isaac, Buky Isaac, Ado Adamu and Maigari Shekarau. 

“Preliminary debriefing of the rescued victims revealed that they’d all been kidnapped across the Gurara Dam space.  

“The troops additionally recovered 90 cattle left behind by the fleeing bandits. The animals shall be handed over to the Kaduna State Livestock Regulatory Authority for correct identification. 

“Additional clearance patrols to Bawa Rikasa Hill led to the restoration of 4 bikes belonging to the bandits.
