Rotary membership begins state-to-state peace students’ coaching in Abuja

Rotary Worldwide Membership, District 9125, Wednesday began the ‘prepare the trainers’ programme for peace students in Abuja.

The programme, which is captured below the membership’s grassroots peace sensitization, voter training and human rights consciousness agenda, is predicted to be stepped down in all 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

 The District Governor of the Membership, Dr. Goddy Nnadi, who spoke throughout the workshop held on the Institute for Peace and Battle Decision (IPCR), Abuja, mentioned the workshop was geared toward elevating consciousness, and to re –set off Nigeria’s sub-consciousness on the significance of peace.

Represented by the membership’s District Secretary, Dr. Alhassan Dan-Hassan, Nnadi, mentioned the institution of peace within the nation and throughout the globe was paramount to the Rotary Worldwide.

He mentioned: “The institution of peace in our houses, in our communities, in our native authorities  and in Nigeria could be very paramount to Rotary Worldwide.
