Reps examine extra-judicial killings in Jos

The Home of Representatives has ordered an investigation into alleged circumstances of extra-judicial killings by safety forces in Jos, Plateau State and its environs.

The Home Wednesday mandated its joint Committees on Police Affairs, Inside, Defence and Nationwide Safety to research the circumstances of extra-judicial killings within the stated areas, and report again inside six weeks.

This was sequel to a movement by Hon. Muhammad Alkali, lamenting the killings and circumstances of rampant kidnapping in Jos and surrounding communities.
