
The Impartial Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) has decried the empty chairs at its Lagos workplace on Tuesday, meant for potential registrants of Everlasting Voters Playing cards (PVCs).
Confirming this, the Chief Press Secretary to the INEC Chairman, Mr. Rotimi Oyekanmi, lamented that as at noon, Tuesday, the set of chairs for potential registrants had been empty and there was no potential registrants in sight on the state headquarters, off Herbert Macaulay manner, Lagos Mainland.
“… No person confirmed as much as register, following the extension of the Steady Voter Registration,” he decried.
Though some business watchers have posited that the persistent rain in Lagos since Monday will need to have induced the lull on Tuesday.
INEC had final weekend on the expiration of the sooner date set out for CVR coupled with the surge by youths who clogged the fee places of work to register and gather their PVC prolonged date for the train
