
Operatives of Kaduna state Police command have rescued three kidnap victims – two ladies alongside Zaria-Kano highway and a person alongside Ikara-Tashan Yari highway, recovering a motorcar, motorbike, rifle and journal.
Kaduna state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Muhammed Jalige, who made this recognized on Sunday stated the victims’ rescue was a part of renewed police effort to deal with felony actions within the state.

The id of the rescued man was later found to be the Yusuf Abdullahi Abubakar ‘m’ of Dorayi whose report of kidnap was earlier acquired by the Division.

“On the ninth September, 2022 at 0245hrs Operatives of the Command hooked up to Hunkuyi Division whereas on aggressive patrol alongside Zaria-Kano expressway, intercepted a suspicious Ford Mini Bus with Reg No. ZAR 532 XR and the occupants moderately than heed the police order to halt for search, engaged the operatives in a gun duel.
“The operatives responded gallantly and within the ensuing melee, the hoodlums fled with various bullet wounds abandoning two feminine occupants of the stated car who had been rescued.
