The South – West Director and Head of Enforcement Division, of the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN), Pharm. Stephen Esumobi, has hinted that the Council has sealed up 387 Pharmacies and patent medicines store in Ibadan
Pharm Esumobi dropped this trace whereas briefing newsmen on the actions of the PCN Enforcement Division in Ibadan over the weekend.
In response to Pharm Esumobi in the course of the enforcement train, 57 pharmacies and 330 patent medicines outlets have been sealed for unlawful and breach of PCN operation rules.
He burdened that in the course of the enforcement train, his group visited 585 premises comprising of 406 Patent Medicines Outlets (PMS) and 179 Pharmacies in Ibadan with 10 compliance directives issued whereas one of many operators of an unregistered patent medication
Esumobi identified that a number of the patent medication outlets have been found promoting medicines exterior the accredited drug checklist and interesting in scientific companies they don’t have the data and coaching to interact in.
