NSCDC nabs 8 suspects, impounds 7 vans of adulterated AGO in Akwa Ibom

The Nigeria Safety and Civil Defence Corps  (NSCDC) has stated it has apprehended eight suspects and impounded seven vans containing 315, 000 litres of suspected adulterated Automotive Fuel Oil (AGO) in Akwa ibom.

The NSCDC Commandant in Akwa Ibom, Mr Suleman Mafara, stated this whereas briefing newsmen on the command’s displays yard in Uyo on Monday.

Mafara stated the suspects had been arrested based mostly on intelligence and surveillance by operatives of the Anti Vandals of the NSCDC Akwa Ibom command on July 7 alongside Calabar-Itu freeway, barely 24 hours after his assumption of responsibility within the state.

He stated the command wouldn’t relent on its mandate of defending authorities vital asset and infrastructure from vandalism.
