
The Interim Administration Committee (IMC) together with the league sponsors, GTI Group, on Thursday January 5, 2023 offered a cheque of N200m every to the twenty Nigeria Skilled Soccer League (NPFL) as take off grant for the 2022/23 NPFL season.
The cheque was obtained by Barrister Isaac Danladi on behalf of the Golf equipment on the Sandralia Lodge after sequence of drama and intrigues by the Golf equipment who initially walked out of the venue when the programme was half method on even though the Nigeria Soccer Federation (NFF) president Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau was on the seat and another government board members of the federation.
After sequence of plea, the Golf equipment led by the NFF 1st Vice President, Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu, Isaac Danladi and few others got here again to the venue of the ceremony to obtained the cheque with the sponsors aghast by the effrontery of the Golf equipment who’re protesting whether or not to play abridged league or not.
NFF president, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, promised that ‘it won’t be enterprise as ordinary because the league will witness many inventions and be enticing and conducive to all. He promised to look into the grievances of all of the stakeholders together with the match officers’
Talking on behalf of the Membership, Barrister Isaac Danladi, thanked the IMC and the sponsors for the cash and promised that the golf equipment will go forward with the league beginning on Sunday.
In the meantime, a workers of the IMC (title withheld) has been arrested by the boys of the Nigeria Police Drive for stealing official paperwork.
The person Blueprint correspondent learnt was about to bolt away with some recordsdata of the IMC when he was caught red-handed and handed over to the police for extra investigation.
In the meantime, the league organisers have revealed that solely the match involving Akwa United and Bendel Insurance coverage will go on as scheduled on Sunday January 8, 2023, whereas different 9 sport will probably be postponed by one week.
