ISO certification confers mark of excellence on NSPRI – CSO

A civil society organisation based mostly in Abuja, the Restore Nigeria Integrity Initiative (RNII) has reacted to the Worldwide Normal Organisation, ISO,  Certification of The Nigerian Saved Merchandise Analysis Institute (NSPRI), for revolutionary management in Africa.

Chatting with journalists after the certification by ISO, the coordinator of Restore Nigeria Initiative, Comrade Victor Itsede went down the reminiscence lane and recalled how NSPRI has carried out since its inception and institution in 1948 as West African Saved  Merchandise Analysis Unit (WASPRU) to evaluate the standard of experience crops from Nigeria, Ghana,  Sierra Leone and the Gambia to United Kingdom through the colonial period which turned Nigerian Saved Merchandise Analysis Institute, NSPRI, after the independence in 1960.

The RNII coordinator posited that, “beneath the watch and management of Dr. Patricia Pessu because the boss of NSPRI, farmers from all areas are being skilled within the space of revolutionary strategies and tools for tackling post-havest losses”, which led to the popularity of NSPRI by the worldwide group and the certification of her analysis’s institute laboratory.

Talking with satisfaction on the certification of NSPRI, Dr. Patricia Pessu mentioned that it’s in step with the mandate of the NSPRI to hold out analysis into bulk storage issues of export commodities and native meals crops, that Nigerian farmers and exporters can now export their merchandise overseas with out concern of it being rejected by the receiving nations.
