Operatives of Edo State police command have arrested three suspects in reference to 20 balmed corpses uncovered in a shrine in Benin Metropolis, the State capital.
The corpses embody 15 mummified male, three mummified feminine and two mummified kids.
The deputy spokesman for the command, Jennifer Iwegbu, who disclosed this in a press release stated the suspects had been arrested on the scene of crime.
She famous that “intensive effort is ongoing to arrest the opposite fleeing suspects”.
The deputy spokesman gave the identifies of the suspects in police custody as Chimaobi Okoewu and Oko Samuel, each of Afikpo in Ebonyi state and Gideon Sunday from Akwa-Ibom State.
