Imo Police operatives nab electrical energy cable vandals

Following a report of the fixed vandalisation of Enugu Electrical energy Distribution Firm (EEDC) electrical cables at Ugiri in Isiala Mbano native authorities space of Imo state, ensuing to steady blackout in the neighborhood, the State Police Command’s Tactical Groups carried out discreet investigation to unravel the perpetrators of the dastardly act.

In line with the Command’s spokesman, CSP Mike Abattam, “Preliminary investigation carried out, revealed that they’re serial vandals, who’ve been terrorising the neighborhood with different members of their gang, vandalising many of the excessive stress cables and transformers, thereby placing the neighborhood in whole blackout. 

“The suspects have made helpful statements, mentioning those that they  promote the gadgets to after vandalising.”

He additional mentioned efforts have been on prime gear to arrest each consumers and different members of the gang.
