Minister of Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, Tuesday, inaugurated a nine- member board for the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria ( COREN).
Fashola, who charged them to make sure that the ethics guiding the engineering career are upheld, reiterated the dedication of the Federal Authorities to the event of infrastructure.
He stated: “As you might be all conscious, our authorities is dedicated to infrastructure and as you all know infrastructure brings improvement to the nation, it boosts our economic system, it creates employment and it allows the nation to compete for continental and world area.”
The minister famous that members of the engineering career have been and can proceed to play a big position on this regard, simply as he burdened the necessity for COREN to make sure that professionalism is at its peak.

The newly inaugurated Council Members are: Dr. Muhammed Danlami Jibrin, representing North West, Dr. Idiat Ibironke Arogundade, representing the North Central, Professor Baba Shehu Waziri, representing the North East, Professor Zekeni Roberts Yelebe, representing the South South and Professor Gabriel Obafemi Shonaike, representing the South West.
