
The Nationwide Sugar Growth Council (NSDC) on Wednesday mentioned a complete of 4 firms have signed unto the Backward Integration Programme (BIP) of the Nationwide Sugar Grasp Plan (NSMP).
The Govt Director, Mr Zacch Adedeji, through the 2022 version of the annual NSDC media parley mentioned the businesses Dangote Sugar Refinery, BUA Sugar Refinery, Golden Sugar Refinery and KIA Africa Group.
Based on him, these BIP operators have their websites positioned in states throughout Nigeria the place there are offering jobs for Nigerians and contributing to the financial fortunes of their host communities.
He mentioned the Dangote Sugar Refinery has its BIP websites in Numan Adamawa state and in Tunga in Nasarawa state, whereas the BUA Group has hers in Lafiagi, Kwara state, Golden Sugar BIP is positioned in Sunti, Niger state whereas that of KIA Africa is in Bacita, Kwara state.
Based on him, according to the expectations of Mr. President and Nigerians, they shall within the shortest doable time attain self sufficiency in sugar manufacturing, and subsequently export to nations inside the continent.
