Coca-Cola’s dedication to investing in environmental sustainability initiatives has earned the corporate a number of awards on the Environmental Sustainability Convention Expo and Awards (ECOSEA).
The convention was organized by ImpactReports Africa and Model Communicator.
The awards reaffirm that for Coca-Cola Nigeria, environmental sustainability goes past one-off philanthropic interventions to long-term commitments.
The maiden version of ECOSEA noticed the convergence of private and non-private sector stakeholders within the environmental sustainability house, deliberate on “Smarter Waste Administration for Safer Cities, The Function of Communication in Environmental Sustainability, and Web Zero Emissions: The Journey to 2060.”
In his welcome handle, Joshua Ajayi, convener, ECOSEA, described it as an annual platform that champions the reason for environmentally sustainable actions in Africa. With the evolution of company sustainability practices from company philanthropy into an integral a part of enterprise fashions and operations, Coca-Cola Nigeria is blazing trails and reworking communities.
With two recognitions, Coca-Cola emerged because the winner in each classes, specifically ‘Award for the Most Excellent Beverage Firm in Environmental Sustainability’ and ‘Award for the Eco-Pleasant Bottled Water Model of the 12 months.’ Moreover, Nwamaka Onyemelukwe, Director, Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability, Coca-Cola Nigeria, emerged as Environmental Sustainability Skilled of the 12 months.
