COAS duties NMS boys on further coaching to defend fatherland

The Chief of Military Workers (COAS), Lt.- Gen. Faruk Yahaya, has stated that the  ‘boys’ of the Nigerian Navy College (NMS), Zaria will endure additional coaching to adequately put together them to contribute to the defence of the nation.

A press release by director military public relations Brig.- Gen Onyema Nwachukwu, stated  the COAS made the remarks Saturday on the sixty fourth Passing Out Parade of the NMS Boys at Chindit Cantonment, Zaria in Kaduna state.

The COAS, who was the Particular Visitor of Honour and Reviewing Officer for the Passing Out Parade (POP), said that the graduating Boys would endure a 6-week coaching on the Nigerian Military College of Infantry to organize them for future duties.

This he identified, is to allow them successfully contribute their quota in combating up to date safety challenges skilled within the nation.

The COAS appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari for his unwavering assist and encouragement to the Nigerian Military.

Talking on behalf of Ex Boys of the College, the Commandant, Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Maj.- Gen Ibrahim Yusuf, famous with gratitude, the COAS’ intervention in infrastructural growth within the faculty, which he described as unprecedented within the historical past of the varsity.

The Commandant of the varsity, Brig.-Gen Jonathan Aun conveyed the appreciation of the employees and college students group of the varsity to the COAS for the profitable execution of the welfare tasks that have been commissioned after the passing out parade.

He added that the tasks would engender a conducive setting for educating and studying within the faculty.

The tasks  commissioned by the COAS embrace; an E-Library,  2000 capability college students’ refectory, Officers’ Mess, Warrant Officers’ and Sergeants’ Mess, Troopers’ Membership and a Multipurpose Corridor.
