
The Inspector-Common of Police, IGP Usman Baba, has directed the Commissioner of Police answerable for Osun state, CP Olaleye Faleye, to research alleged assault of a feminine officer, Inspector Olorunsogo Bamidele, by her Deputy Crime Officer (DCO) in Ode Omu, Osun state.
Inspector Olorunsogo in a viral video on social media platforms had alleged that the DCO assaulted and inflcted accidents on her for refusing to dishonour her marital vows by having a relationship with him.
The police officer, who confirmed accidents stated to have been inflicted on her by her senior colleague, stated she was assaulted in entrance of a few of her colleagues and civilians on the division.
Pressure Public Relations Officer (FPRO), CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a press assertion, Wednesday, in Abuja, stated: “We are going to await the report of the investigation from Osun state Police Command earlier than vital actions are taken. “Nonetheless, we guarantee most of the people that justice shall be achieved within the case, to guard the core values and ethics of the NPF.”
