After Osun, PDP ‘ll seize Southwest in 2023, BoT chair boasts

Board of Trustees Chairman, Peoples Democratic Social gathering (PDP), Sen. Walid Jibrin, has said that PDP’s victory in Osun state is a transparent indication that the opposition celebration will sweep the polls in Southwest come 2023.

Talking in a congratulatory message to Osun state Governor-Elect, Sen. Ademola Adeleke on Monday, Walid stated he was not stunned by the celebration’s victory, noting that he noticed it coming with the massive turnout that attended PDP’s mega rally forward of the polls, including that there are indications that PDP will win different Southwest states in subsequent 12 months’s common elections.

“I used to be there at Osun over the last marketing campaign and the variety of those who turned out for the rally was unbelievable and I used to be so certain that the PDP will win Osun state. And that is only the start of victory. What has occurred in Osun state now is a sign of PDP’s stand in the entire nation. We as a celebration have realized our classes and the Yorubas are starting to be taught their classes too, by popping out to elect Chief Adeleke.

“We’re relaxation assured that different states in western Nigeria will probably be received by the PDP come 2023. By the grace of God, all different states within the nation will vote for us. So the problem of the APC marketing campaign for a Muslim-Muslim presidency won’t work. You may bear me witness that it didn’t work in Osun state, so we must always not assist this sort of politics. Our concern needs to be based mostly on who’s one of the best candidate for us that may be answerable for the nation,” he stated.

Is there any division there?”
