A world election observer group, Pan African Girls Initiatives (PAWP), in collaboration with the Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) on Friday December 16, 2022 sensitised market girls on the necessity to accumulate their Everlasting Voter Playing cards (PVC) with a purpose to vote within the 2023 normal elections.
Talking on the occasion inside Lafia trendy market, Nasarawa state, Dr. Eno Ben-Udensi, head of mission, PAWP, mentioned the essence of the sensitisation was to enhance girls participation within the electoral course of.
“PAWP is a non-governmental organisation of girls from the 54 nations of Africa together with Nigeria. Our mission right now in Nasarawa state is to sensitise market girls from the 13 LGAs to get their Everlasting Voter Playing cards now that INEC has commenced distribution,” Ben-Udensi mentioned.
